Rio Carnival 2010 at Cygnus 27

Thursday, March 11, was one busy night in Grand Rapids. The Art Council of Greater Grand Rapids' What Is Your Art GR event at the McKay Tower was quite a fun event that showcased 10 minute performances of arts and culture organizations. All the city big wigs joined the Asian community and keynote speaker, Doug DeVos, in the sold-out West Michigan Asian Gala at the Goei Center. The evening was capped off with the Rio Carnival 2010 at Cygnus 27. 

Just like all parties at Cygnus 27, Rio Carnival 2010 brought out all the city's socialites for another fun filled evening of Brazilian rhythms and caipirinha's. JW resident DJ, Todd Ernst and DJ Slim Tim provided the soundscape.

The Grand Rapids Symphony crew were once again supporting the GR nightlife.
